Who is Advanced Conductor Technologies?

We provide the enabling technology needed for superconducting power cable systems and the next generation of superconducting high-field magnets. It is our mission to help our customers achieve advanced system performance goals by integrating CORC® cables and wires customized for their specific applications. Advanced Conductor Technologies was founded in June 2011 to commercialize high-temperature superconducting CORC® cables for high-field magnet and power transmission applications. CORC® cables and wires provide a much higher current density than typical HTS cables, even at magnetic fields exceeding 20 T. Advanced Conductor Technologies employs custom-designed cable manufacturing to wind long-length CORC® cables and wires to exact customer specifications.
