We are an approved OEM supplier of aircraft components to several helicopter OEMs such as Bell, Boeing, Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters, and Sikorsky. Our story began in 2009 when Northern Airborne Technology (NAT) elected to cease manufacturing operations in Canada. Founded in 1979, NAT built a solid reputation in their avionics engineering capabilities, with NAT products being synonymous with quality, reliability, and longevity. Dedicated troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment services complement our product lines, providing customers with a reliable resource for their avionics needs. AEM also provides comprehensive electronics manufacturing services for a select group of companies with STEM products, addressing solutions for the unique challenges of lower volume, high-mix product configurations, and accelerating the go-to-market process. In 2014, AEM partnered with Structural Monitoring Systems Plc (SMS) in the development, production, and certification of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) technology. AEM’s story continues to unfold as the company grows through new business opportunities and new product development.
