We manufacture and supply hi-tech technologies for modern agriculture. We are engaged in researching and developing technologies, design activities and constructing production aquaponic, hydroponic and RAS farms. Our vision is to have at least one aquaponic, hydroponic or RAS farm near every regional capital to supply its residents with local food produced in an organic and sustainable manner. That’s why we developed our own tanks over a year, which we have constantly been improving. We are convinced that our ingredients are the best in the local area. RASTECH was founded by Dr Andrew Whiston, Dougie Allen in 2021 to address their longstanding “itch” centred around developing science based platforms for genuinely sustainable and circular onshore aquaculture. Rastech’s circular economy and data-driven methodology reduces water usage, enhances biosecurity, and provides better waste management, end-to-end product traceability and skilled jobs.

By constructing food production systems that recirculates water and requires no soil…schools and communities can achieve chemical and pesticide-free outputs such as edible fish, vegetables, fruits, and herbs… while using significantly less water, space, and energy than traditional agriculture!

We have taken a holistic approach to sustainability, choosing low impact materials where possible and using renewable energy tariffs. Our fertiliser is produced on-site and we use up to 95% less water than conventional growing methods.
