We are a project developer with proprietary climate technology on a mission to remove 1 billion tons of carbon dioxide. We are also proud alumni of Stanford’s founder community StartX batch SS 2019 and since then, our team has grown into a highly motivated group of engineers, climate experts and change makers. We are excited to work with industry pioneers in scaling our technology, developing new biochar applications and decarbonising the energy sector. We are a project developer with proprietary climate technology. We are building a rapidly scalable biochar carbon removal solution. Urgently reducing emissions is of utmost importance, but today not enough to prevent 1.5°C global temperature rises – in addition, we need carbon dioxide to be removed from the atmosphere with natural and hybrid-technological solutions. With decades of combined experience, our experts and industry veterans are working together to achieve our mission. At Carbo Culture, we believe photosynthesis is the fastest way to draw down carbon from the atmosphere; we convert the carbon from plant matter into a stable form of pure carbon so it stays out of the air.

We are scientists, engineers, soil enthusiasts, and business professionals who work hand in hand to shape the economic transformation towards a low-carbon future. At Novocarbo, dedicated experts in various fields strive for a common goal: we want to remove as much CO₂ as possible from the atmosphere. Caspar von Ziegner founded Novocarbo in 2017 with the aim of pushing forward carbon removal solutions to contribute to achieving the 1.5 degree goal of the Paris Climate Agreement. Novocarbo is about carbon removal – however, the company was built by business professionals with a legacy of passion for soil and agriculture. Today we are proud to leverage that knowledge to offer one of the first scalable carbon removal solutions on the European market. Novocarbo Biochar is at the frontier of the biochar space. We are working with companies and research institutes around the world to develop new use cases. Stay informed about Novocarbo, industry events, scientific findings and more — on LinkedIn!

NeoCarbon’s patented approach is the future of removing CO₂ from ambient air. NeoCarbon's innovative technology captures CO₂ from the air, transforming it into a valuable resource for your industry, always reliably available. Founded in January 2022 by René Haas and Silvain Toromanoff, we are a dedicated team of 10+ individuals committed to combating climate change. The story behind NeoCarbon begins with René, an industrial engineer with a master in energy and resource management who previously scaled teams to 100+ people in a Berlin-based scale-up. With our innovative approach and unwavering determination, we are working towards a sustainable future for all. Pierce is a multidisciplinary engineer with a passion for designing and building automation systems. We need to drastically reduce those emissions, but that won't be sufficient. Think of it like a bathtub, reducing our emissions limits the water that is going in, but we cannot close the tab entirely due to unavoidable emissions from industries like aviation. Therefore, we also need to open the drain of the bathtub, which is achieved via carbon removal, and specifically via Direct Air Capture technology.

When Carbon180 was founded back in 2015, pulling carbon out of the sky at gigaton scale sounded like an impossible idea. We are policy experts and PhDs, community builders, and advocates brought together to tackle one of the world’s most pressing challenges. Carbon removal should be deployed to eliminate legacy carbon emissions already in our atmosphere; it’s not an excuse to keep using fossil fuels in the US. The climate science calls for us to reduce and remove emissions simultaneously. Carbon removal isn't a distraction from emissions reductions — it could catalyze them. See where dollars get dedicated to CDR across the federal government. Years in service since being founded in 2015.
