Solar Cooling Engineering GmbH (SCE) is a spinoff company of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Hohenheim in Germany. Its mission is to raise awareness on the use of solar energy for refrigeration with focus on low GWP refrigerants, thermal storage and sustainable insulation materials. SCE provides technical support to institutions form the private and public sector promoting the local production as pathway to reduce final system cost and create specialized jobs. With focus on thermal (ice) storage for an optimal or non use of electrical bateries. Our solutions are suitable for several appliances and can be built in a modular way supporting local production. Our offer includes common field testings and support by selecting the right local sourced components.
