CPS is a rapidly growing specialty chemicals company with 3 business units – GEO Specialty Chemicals, FAR Chemical and RutgersSC. We focus on end markets where performance counts – including specialty coatings, eyecare materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, animal and human nutrition ingredients, and specialty additives used in a wide range of construction applications. We also own a minority interest in USALCO, one of North America’s leading water treatment chemical producers with 27 sites extending from California to Puerto Rico. Our GEO Specialty Chemicals division has a diverse product range operating out of 3 facilities in the US & UK. GEO is a leading supplier of specialty ingredients for eye-care and nutrition end-uses. In nutrition, GEO is the largest North American supplier of glycine, a key amino acid used in numerous end-uses including human supplements and pet food. From our site in the UK, GEO is a supplier of a broad range of specialty methacrylate monomers and functional additives used in a wide range of coating, adhesive and sealant applications. In addition, leveraging our strength in alkoxylation, GEO is a leading supplier of specialty Polyalkylene Glycols (PAGs) used in end-markets including specialty lubricants, foam control, metal working fluids and other industrial end-uses.
