We are O’Connor Belting International | Derco USA, A Veteran Owned manufacturer of custom light weight conveyor belting supplying belts to a wide range of industries and applications. We are the ones to call when you’ve looked everywhere else. We are Derco USA, fabricators of customized lightweight, plastic modular, and monolithic belting for a wide variety of industries and applications. Derco USA’s products are sold exclusively to distributors and OEMs throughout the country. Our belts are made to order and manufactured out of our 50,000 square foot facility in Newark, DE. Our facility also houses some of the industry’s leading equipment that enables us to provide custom conveyor profiling, weld various cleat types and arrangements, and create belts made from technical renderings. We developed an innovative manufacturing technique which gave us the capability to create a new profile of ballast regulator broom element. As demand for our products in Europe increased, a strategic decision was made to open a local office to better service our European customers. To realise our vision and meet our customers’ expectations, we needed to move the business from our original site in Silverwater, NSW. We are excited about the future of Derby Rubber. We are constantly looking for challenges and opportunities to grow and improve our processes and techniques. Mechanical engineer, Robert Moore and businessman, Ralph Sheppard founded Derby Rubber Products Pty Ltd in 1964. Initially manufacturing engine mounts and radiator hoses for the local automotive business; their business and expertise grew quickly. In 2002 we opened Derby Rubber Products (Europe) B.V.
