EURAMET - The European Association of National Metrology Institutes

EURAMET's European Metrology Network for Clean Energy is now officially established. Between 2009 and 2013 EURAMET funded 119 research projects – many of which continue to benefit European citizens, businesses, and the environment. FLASH radiotherapy is a new form of cancer treatment promising to minimise damage caused to healthy tissue but requiring metrology for its safe use. The EU has targeted net-zero emissions from transport by 2050 which will require rapid take-up of cleaner, non-fossil fuels such as hydrogen.
