In 1996, Robert Hanson, GarageFloorCoating.com’s founder and current President, started a small company that specialized in the installation of epoxy coatings on residential garage floors, walkways, driveways and patios. In 2021, GarageFloorCoating.com celebrated 25 years in the liquid coatings business. In 2023, GarageFloorCoating.com took the next step to become a liquid coatings product manufacturer. Intensive R&D ensued, leading to the creation and perfection of proprietary epoxy, polyurea-polyaspartic coating products, systems and installation techniques. In 1999, these revolutionary products, coating systems and installation techniques allowed GarageFloorCoating.com (GFC) to expand beyond residential into the commercial and industrial realms. In 2018, GFC introduced a whole new line of products and coating systems. Since then we’ve introduced even more products including our concrete patch system called Eco-Patch and our 100% Solids Moisture Mitigating Epoxy (MME).
