Handgards is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality foodservice disposable products, including gloves, bags, protective apparel and flexible packaging. For over 60 years Handgards has been the North American leader forfoodservice plastic disposables. Wind Point acquired Handgards in October 2020 and the Wind Point’s value creation plan focuses on expanding our manufacturing operations, growing the company’s product portfolio and executing strategic acquisitions. During the 1960’s, Handgards marketed disposable gloves through hair care product manufacturers, department stores and mail order houses, as well as veterinary, laboratory, physicians and safety supply houses. Handgards has always been a well-known supplier to schools, prisons, colleges, hospitals and institutional feeders. Today, Handgards remains a leader in the institutional food service industry by providing over a thousand different products through its sales force and our independent broker network. Our products are sold throughout North America to an extensive base of broadline distributors, group purchasing organizations (“GPOs”) and national foodservice accounts. As Handgards continues to expand its markets the company remains focused on value added and cost saving products.
