We are ending the beta tests on March 26. We are here to present our newest development. While Mod DB was (as the name implies) a site for game modifications, we found a lot of indie developers adding their games to the site under the "standalone games" category. First and by far the most important is the growth in digital distribution which eliminated the need for a publisher, meaning even indie games made by one or two people with a tiny budget can still reach millions of potential customers. The award-winning Call of Duty Rio mod is becoming a full game on Unreal Engine 5. This is the first dev log of project Echoes in the Deep. Now, each month will end with me delivering a milestone. Operation Athena is a brand new tactical first person shooter that takes inspiration from classic tactical shooters with updated modern mechanics.
