Induction Heat Treatments - Induction Hardening specialists
We manufacture inductors to our own designs for our own use. Induction hardening is a non-contact heating process which utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction to induce heat inside the surface layer of a component.Induction hardening is a controlled precision process which induces a localized hardened 'case' on the surface of the component which can obtain depths of typically 0.5 - 5mm (although case depths up to 25mm have been achieved by IHT) and hardness's of between 30 - 65 HRC depending on the steel grade used. Induction Heat treatments offer comprehensive range of specialist induction solutions for your components. Computer controlled operations using CNC and robotic controls ensure consistent component accuracy, quality and production efficiency time and time again on your components.
