INSIGMA Engineering develops novel sensor sytems which exploits the optical backscatter in the fiber optic cable to detect and analyze the acoustic vibrations along the fiber installation. We provide and customize solutions for both quasi-distributed (such as FBG sensors) and fully-distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) systems. INSIGMA Engineering was founded in 2020 to disseminate novel photonic sensor technologies for public safety and security applications in diverse industries.
