We delivered flats, townhouses and a mixed use facility to enhance the experience of students living at the University. We are creating efficient access for passengers and reducing congestion at one of the world’s busiest airports. We operate a portfolio of PPP concessions, mainly in healthcare facilities, highways, energy and transmission, student accommodation, residential regeneration and private housing. In the US, our portfolio includes Balfour Beatty Communities, a subsidiary dedicated to developing and operating privatised military housing, student and multifamily housing.

The services provided by GLIL are only available to persons classified as Professional Clients. GLIL invests in core infrastructure assets predominantly in the United Kingdom. Cornerstone is GLIL’s first investment in the digital sector, recognising the important role digital networks play in supporting economic growth and nationwide connectivity. GLIL acquired a 25% interest in the M6toll concessionaire in January 2023. In July 2022, GLIL Infrastructure acquire a stake in Hornsea 1, at the time the world’s largest operational offshore wind farm, which is located off the north-east coast of England. GLIL and its partner jointly acquired a 12.5% stake in the project as a 50:50 equity partner. In February 2022, GLIL acquired a majority investment in Rathcool, a portfolio of 11 operational onshore wind farms that provide around 11% of the Republic of Ireland’s installed wind capacity. GLIL Infrastructure has committed to invest up to £150m in Flexion Energy, the modern utility company and energy storage infrastructure specialist.

LBJ Infrastructure Group (LBJIG), a transportation infrastructure company which represents a consortium of companies, has a public-private partnership (P3) with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the $2.7 billion LBJ Express project on I-635 and I-35E. Based in Dallas/Fort Worth, LBJ is responsible for the design, development, operations and maintenance of the LBJ Express and its 13.3 miles of LBJ TEXpress Lanes which opened in September 2015. At LBJ Infrastructure Group, we work to provide congestion-management solutions to North Texas drivers. With the addition of the LBJ TEXpress Lanes, we offer drivers a choice in their daily commutes. With more than 500,000 trips per day on the LBJ Express project alone, it is imperative to offer a product that enables drivers to maintain a more predictable rate of speed.
