At TIC we are committed to taking action towards positive change in the world. Tengah Island Conservation (TIC) is a non-profit biodiversity management initiative located on Pulau Tengah, an island within the Johor Marine Park, Malaysia. TIC is dedicated to the research, rehabilitation and regeneration of our natural environment. No one knows how close to the limit we are getting. So, facts are: you’re on an incredible island, accommodated at the Ranch which is a big open-air living room surrounded by nature and equipped with comfortable rooms for everyone.

Our programs provide funding, resources, and tools to protect endangered sea turtle species in the Global South. Billion Baby Turtles provides support for important turtle nesting beaches around the world. Too Rare To Wear is a campaign working to end the demand for turtleshell products. Our conservation trips provide volunteer and financial support for conservation efforts. SEE Turtles was launched in 2008 as the world's first effort to protect these species through ecotourism by conservationists Dr. We have provided more than 200 grants to date, totaling more than US $1 million in funding. Too Rare To Wear is a campaign to end the demand for turtleshell products. Our Sea Turtle Inclusivity Fund has provided scholarships to young researchers from Costa Rica, Venezuela, Indonesia, Panama, Papua New Guinea, and Brazil to further their careers working in sea turtle conservation.

Shortly after our wedding, we set up our online eco store, selling UK manufactured eco-friendly products to UK customers. Although we both had many years of experience in sales between us, we quickly realised it was old school. It is the main nesting beach on the island and has approximately 100 nests every year!
