We are a team of product designers and technology mavericks who believe that for artificial intelligence to achieve its full potential, it needs the ability to sense and perceive the physical world the way humans do. That’s our mission, and we will not settle for anything less than truly perceptive autonomous vehicles, robotics, and devices. Today’s autonomous mobility solutions are built around a 20-year-old hardware-centric architecture that doesn’t scale, which is why progress has been incremental at best. At Perceptive, we believe the key to unlocking next-generation autonomy requires rethinking the sensing architecture from the ground up to make it function more like human perception. Sensing and concluding that something is present is a difficult task for any sensor individually.
