MAP AFRICA Consulting Engineers was established in June 2001 and collectively boasts over 100 + years of experience between its core management staff. Our team has extensive expertise to deliver projects in the fields of Civil Infrastructure, Structural, Water and Sanitation, Roads & Stormwater, Housing, Traffic & Transportation Engineering, Project Management, and Energy. The management of the planning and physical construction process within the built environment from conception to completion, including management of related professional services and specialists. We offer drone photography, drone site inspection, pre and post site drone imagery.

MMAPS is a small, long-term provider of plant maintenance and construction management, engineering and supply chain services to continuous process industries in petrochemical, gas, energy, refrigeration, dairy and port sectors. MMAPS principal, Hugh Garrod has had extensive maintenance, construction and regulatory experience in senior management roles. MMAPS has operated continuously since 1993 and prior to 1993, Hugh held various senior roles including Maintenance Manager for a petrochemical complex for 9 years and Chief Engineer for a dairy company for 4 years. If any critical aspects of maintenance or project management performance need improvement, MMAPS may be able to help.

Originally established in 1999, the company has provided in-house engineering and consulting services, including Preliminary Engineering, Civil/Site Engineering, Structural Engineering, CAD/Drafting, Construction Management/Support, Special Inspections, and Forensic/Expert Witness services for government, industrial, commercial, institutional and residential clients. This is done in a seamless manner with M&A as the prime, responsible Project Management Firm. We offer the capabilities of a larger firm while retaining the accountability and economy of a smaller firm.
