In 1975, Valve Research & Manufacturing Company was formed to develop high precision valves and manifold systems for the aerospace, oceanographic and off-shore oil exploration industries. Some of our first products included a cartridge valve used on the flight control system aboard the BAe146 commercial transport. In addition, we designed and manufactured solenoid valves and manifold packages which were used to control manipulator arms aboard the Ametek Scorpio ROV submersible. All engineering, prototype and production manufacturing, assembly, and testing was performed in-house at this location for 26 years. Beginning in late 2008, the company moved into a state-of-the-art located near the original factory to accommodated expected growth increasing the facility to 24,000 square feet. Our business practices have evolved to keep pace with our design and manufacturing expansion. Valve Research & Manufacturing Inc operates the business using a complete ERP solution including Quality, Shop Floor, MRP and financials. Over 46,000 valves have been delivered to our customers over the past 3 years.
