Creating a Sustainable Low-Carbon Future - NLC Energy
Additionally, we developed our own capability to monetize carbon credits. As the joint venture’s facilities began to drastically underperform, we lacked the operational control to force the necessary changes. At our own expense, we developed an independent capacity to run operations, to perform complex engineering, and to access government incentives in renewable energy. We built and own a decant station with access to the interstate pipeline, where we receive renewable natural gas from other manufacturers. Beyond renewable natural gas, we are the first anaerobic digester in the world to produce ISBT certified beverage-grade liquid C02 and food-grade dry ice. NLC Energy designs, builds, owns, and operates renewable natural gas facilities that convert organic waste into useful commodities like clean energy, organic nutrients, clean water, organic liquid carbon dioxide, and dry ice. Clients and partners advance towards meeting net-zero carbon emission objectives. We upcycle difficult to handle organic food waste by-products and agricultural waste, creating pipeline-quality biomethane, and certifying destruction with data supporting carbon offset calculations.
