OCSiAl is the world’s largest producer of graphene nanotubes. OCSiAl’s mission is to improve specific properties of all base materials,* making the world a better place for all living beings. We are pursuing this mission by developing universal nanotube solutions and introducing them into the manufacturing industry. The name OCSiAl consists of the symbols of four chemical elements. OCSiAl’s history began in 2009 with the question “Is it possible to create an industrial technology for synthesizing graphene nanotubes scalable to hundreds of thousands of tonnes per year, and to significantly reduce the price paid by consumers by 100 times?”. In 2010, the OCSiAl company in Luxembourg was established to overcome this challenge. On 12 May, OCSiAl’s core product – TUBALL™ graphene nanotubes – was introduced to the market at the Institute of Minerals, Materials and Mining in London. OCSiAl advanced synthesis technology to unlock production unit scalability up to 50 tonnes.
