Ohio Northern University is an independent, comprehensive University located in Ada, Ohio, distinguished by nationally ranked academics and a 97 percent job placement rate. The year 2021 marks 150 years since our founder, H.S. Lehr., established the Northwestern Ohio Normal School (our original name), and we remain as devoted as ever to developing students who are ready to immerse themselves in high-impact learning, with more than 60 programs to choose from in our five colleges: Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy and Law. Founded in 1890, the University of Oklahoma was actually established 17 years prior to Oklahoma’s statehood. East Ohio, formerly known as Ohio Valley College of Technology, is a modern college that spans two buildings and is located on an 11-acre scenic campus. East Ohio College also offers its Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Office Administration, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Dental Assisting, and Medical Coding programs online. The online Clinical Medical Assistant program provides students the opportunity to receive hands-on phlebotomy, EKG, and lab skills during clinical days. In the century-plus since then, we’ve made it our mission to help students in East Liverpool, Ohio and the surrounding area to fulfill their potential and prepare for rewarding jobs in numerous fields. The School of Medicine completes construction on a 10,000-square-foot expansion of its research wing. The School of Medicine educates physicians and health professionals to meet the primary care and health care needs of rural and medically underserved areas of Georgia. Mercer University was founded in 1833 in Penfield by Georgia Baptists. From its humble beginnings in Penfield, Mercer today is a dynamic and comprehensive center of undergraduate, graduate and professional education. Jackson is the first woman to receive a degree from Mercer. Today, it is known as the Cecil B. Mercer acquires the Overlook Mansion on Coleman Hill, now known as the Woodruff House. The Plunkett-Sewell family commissions a Holtkamp pipe organ, specially designed for Newton Chapel.
