Our mission is to provide the marine and ocean industry with high quality products and services through the sale and rental of standard products and engineered solutions servicing the commercial, academic and government markets, and to deliver fit-for-purpose offerings to make our customers’ work easier, safer, and more productive. Okeanus Science & Technology, LLC, formed in 2013, is an organization wholly focused on providing the oceanographic professional with all of the tools necessary to complete a project on time and on budget, no matter the water depth or location. Okeanus Science & Technology is part of Advanced Ocean Systems (AOS), a company formed in 2022 to specifically serve the ocean and offshore industries’ growing demand for fully integrated, autonomous, and remote marine systems. Whether we are custom-fitting a heavy pull multi-purpose winch or developing a prototype sample collector for deep-sea mining, we have the industry expertise, marine engineering experience, and technological know-how to deliver failproof, mission-critical assets. Okeanus is an established market leader for field-proven deck equipment (an expanding portfolio of winches, A-Frames, LARS, HPU's, and sheaves), subsea technologies (including GPS products, pressure housings, and towfish), and essential instrumentation for hydrographic, geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental surveys. In addition to these systems, Okeanus also offers an extensive pool of leased equipment that can be paired with any of its winches and deployed at a moment’s notice.
