Optopol also developed the world’s first spectral domain OCT and offers the world’s fastest OCT, which is currently being tested for FDA approval for the U.S. Optopol Technology, based in Zawiercie, Poland, is a privately held company that has been manufacturing automated perimeters since 2001. Optopol USA offers the most extensive warranty in the industry, two full years. Optopol Technology was founded in January in 1992 by the late Adam Bogdani, whose son Marcin still runs the company today. The family re-acquired Optopol Technology in 2014 and Marcin Bogdani took over as the President.
