In November 2013 WHRL Solutions LLC was established in Texas in the USA and today we operate from our 2 bases on either side of the Atlantic. With over 30 different manufacturers producing ORC generators across Europe and North America all with differing technology ranges and costs per kW of power generation, Heatcatcher is independent and best placed to select and integrate the best available technology to match your waste heat source. Adil is a chartered mechanical engineer with electrical supply experience in the design and project management of low carbon energy generating technologies for energy intensive industries. Graham is an Electrical/Energy Management/BMS Controls Engineer with over 25 years’ experience delivering energy conservation projects for Commercial and Industrial applications.

Founded in 2012, we were an early innovator in the UK's emerging heat pump market. We quickly grew to become a market leader for our uncompromising commitment to quality. In parallel, over 2012-2020 we constructed a sister asset company - the only portfolio of its kind - comprising 71 large-scale, heat pump assets with RHI accreditation (over 10 MW of renewable heating). Our sister asset company that we maintain provides us with a wealth of national level operating, performance and thermal response data which informs our design and innovation today.

We are based in the UK at the manufacturing site of our parent company in Hull. We do not outsource the manufacture of our products, all main equipment items are produced to the highest standards of workmanship and material quality in our ASME and ISO 9001 accredited Workshops.

We are an end-to-end developer of technically advanced energy recovery facilities in the UK. The facilities we develop play a key role in resolving the UK’s waste issues locally by diverting waste from landfill, reducing the amount of waste exports, while transforming residual waste into low carbon, renewable energy. We work with a suite of technologies and trusted partners, enabling us the flexibility to develop concurrent projects across the UK. The Hooton Bio Power facility is our fifth energy recovery project and is the first non-subsidised merchant gasification facility. It is the first time the UK market has realised a gasification facility of this size, based on fluidised bed technology provided by Japanese Kobelco Eco Solutions.
