Säätötuli Canada

Our products are based on the Finnish Säätötuli biomass burning technology for which we own the product rights for North America. Säätötuli Canada manufactures and distributes biomass boilers and furnaces in North America. Our hot air furnace has an output of 1,706,000 BTU/hr (500kW), meaning it can provide roughly 17,000 CFM of air with a delta T of about 80°C. Our hot water biomass boilers as well as the hot air generators can be combined to increase the output. Säätötuli is a pioneer in the manufacturing of containerised biomass boilers (also called modular biomass heating plants). Säätötuli built the first unit in Finland in 2003 and has delivered more than 300 containerized units since. Säätötuli Canada uses local sub-contractors for the manufacturing of parts like the pressure vessels of the hot-water boilers and cast iron parts for the burner grids.

Biomass energy is, therefore, produced by burning these biological materials to provide a renewable and sustainable source of fuel. This is a government initiated scheme that was set up to encourage the use of renewable heat technologies among home owners, communities and businesses by providing financial incentives. As the capital expenditure on commercial projects is typically paid off in around 5 years, this leaves a further 15 years of RHI payments for owners to benefit from. Further advantages are that many businesses can burn by-products produced on site, such as pallets and wood off-cut. This not only provides some businesses free fuel, but also removes disposal costs associated with waste removal from site. Along with the financial benefits you can also play your part in reducing carbon emissions by replacing a fossil fuel boiler with a biomass boiler. Provide your family with the increased convenience and safety that come with an outdoor wood furnace. Greentech Manufacturing Inc, located in International Falls, Minnesota, are committed to building the best performing, most durable indoor / outdoor furnaces available, manufactured 100% in the USA, to give you years of service and to make each unit easy to maintain and operate.
