We provide the best solution for your experiment with dedicated customer service. With satisfied customers worldwide, Single Quantum is known for high quality and reliability. The detectors are pigtailed with an optical fiber and operated in a closed-cycle cryostat at 2.5 Kelvin.

Our highest priority is the success of our customers. Quantum Opus offers a compact (3U-rack sized) superconducting nanowire system which offers high detection efficiency, low-noise performance which is easy to use, even for researchers with no cryogenics experience. We offer standard products optimized for maximum detection efficiency near 950 nm or 1550 nm, but frequently build detectors to our customer’s specifications: optimized for specified wavelengths, broadband response, and even mid-infrared detection. We offer superconducting photon counting solutions to meet the needs of quantum optics, quantum computation, photon-starved optical communication, low-flux biophotonics, and fluorescence measurements.

Quantum Detectors was founded in 2007, a technology spin-out from the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and Diamond Light Source (DLS), the UK’s synchrotron radiation facility. The company today is a market-leading provider of advanced direct electron detectors and readout solutions employed in TEM and synchrotron radiation facilities throughout the world. And with several hundred installations operational in the field, our readout systems are leading the way in accessing high-quality beamline data. The company was provided with initial funding and tasked with commercialising technology developed at the SRS synchrotron at Daresbury Laboratory. We installed our 100th Xspress 3 system, cementing its position as the leading readout system for analysis of fluorescence detector data at synchrotrons worldwide. With a vast range of applications, MerlinX is a high performance X-Ray imaging detector. HEXITEC detector is a self-contained system that measures the energy and position of every incident photon in the 4-200 keV range. Born from discussions in the Cryo-EM field, this detector is designed as the ideal detector for performance at 100keV.

In 2005 qutools started building demonstrators for entangled photons, fiber optics and single photon sources. We provide and develop software for data collection and analysis as well as the GUI for all operating systems. That is why we focus on innovation, while addressing the needs in your lab. All products can be customized as we always focus on optimizing the device for your application. More than 15 years of experience in programming logic for algorithmic, control technology and analysis in ultra-fast time detection, microscopy and interferometry. We use those for all of our products.

Quantum Solutions is a spinoff from the prestigious and widely cited research group led by one of the pioneers in the field of quantum dots, Prof. Quantum Solutions’ products enable the creation of ‘wide-range‘ sensing and imaging systems, capable of detecting light beyond the capabilities of silicon technology, including short-wave infrared, middle-wave infrared, X-ray, and UV ranges.
