Hydro Turf operates one of the most diverse and modern hydroseeding machinery fleets in the market including a bespoke built U500 Unimog hydroseeding unit to tackle the most hostile and largest of sites where distance and capacity are required in order to maintain the projects quality and financial viability. We have been an accredited installer of Profile Products hydroseeding mulches and consumables since 2014. Hydro Turf was founded back in 2004 and we have been a Profile Products accredited installer of their High Performance mulches and Flexterra FGM since 2014. By prioritizing quality over quantity, we have established ourselves as the foremost provider of premium services in our industry, with extensive experience covering countless hectares of hydroseeding and specialist erosion control work.

We are a friendly, reliable, family run business with over seven years' experience in landscaping. We provide a wide range of gardening services for both domestic and commercial clients, including but not limited to: lawn mowing & lawn repair, border control, weeding, shrub pruning, hedge trimming, garden waste recycling, turfing, moss treatment, rubbish removal, pressure washing, garden clearance and winter services. We are open Monday to Fridays from 7am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. Our customers' needs are our priority and we are passionate about what we do. Lawns can be re-seeded or patched where there is a minimal amount of damage. Alternatively, we can lay completely new lawns; this is a bit more expensive than growing from seed but provides a good quality lawn very quickly. Getting the soil right first is a must; it is all about preparation. We can provide advice before and after any repair or new lawn is laid.

Hydroseeding using state of the art purpose built machinery ensures that the ingredients – grass seed, fertilisers, soil binders and mulch are thoroughly mixed in tank and kept suspended in a homogenous slurry prior to application. Hydroseeding has become a widely used method of seed application where large areas can be covered in a relatively short space of time and allows grasses to be grown where conventional landscape methods are impossible to utilise. Aitchison Hydroseeding Ltd key staff and team members are City & Guilds National Proficiency Test Council trained, qualified and certificated for herbicide application and invasive species management. Hydroseeding works to 468,000m2 of cable tracks, borrow pits and tracksides of the new Viking Energy Project using native grasses on the main island of Shetland. A further visit to hydroseed 14,000m2 was completed using our Unimog and mounted hydroseeder. Hydroseeding works to 348,000m2 of coastal wildflower meadow and coastal grasses to further enhance the flora and fauna of the existing and local environment. Hydroseeding to areas along the roadside and trackside of Clyde Windfarm to help re-establish the disturbed areas with local grasses. Hydroseeding works carried out to reinstate the verges and disturbed areas of the newly updated runway at the air base.
