Specialty Polymers has lived up to its name since 1969 when it was founded by Ray Southwell. He set out to develop innovative and precisely tailored polymer emulsions for architectural and industrial markets. Since then, we’ve become the go-to source for polymer chemistries ranging from acrylic copolymers and hybrid technology to adhesives, resins, and low VOC emulsions. Our products are the key ingredients found in emulsion polymers for coatings, paints, stain, sealants fit for a wide variety of substrates ranging from wood and concrete, to paper and textiles. Our facilities have grown to more than 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehouse space, 250 million lbs. annual capacity, and more than 1 million lbs. of bulk finish good storage.
