Stress-tek has extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of strain gage based sensors and load cells, applying strain gages to element bodies and providing stress analysis services. Stress-tek was founded in 1978 to provide professional consulting services in the areas of strain gaging, transducer design, and experimental stress analysis. Stress-Tek, also designs and manufactures digital, two-wire electronics to integrate with our load cells and sensors to provide complete solutions. In 2015, Stress-tek became part of Vishay Precision Group, Inc. Stress-tek provides expert application analysis, sensor design, mechanical sensor production, strain gage assembly, calibration and testing. Stress-tek offers a complementary range of specialty instruments for data acquisition to capture accurate engineering data with minimal effort. Stress-tek offers in-house and field strain gaging services for experimental stress analysis, prototype evaluation, production builds and field-service testing. Since 1978 Stress-tek has been dedicated to the development, design and manufacture of custom sensors to measure force, torque, pressure and weight for all industries.
