ThinkFAB is a 3D printing company founded in June 2014 by Prudhvi Reddy and Raja Sekhar Upputuri, two BITS Pilani batch mates with MBA degrees from IIM Kolkata and China Europe International Business School, Shanghai respectively. After 15 years of working in education, technology and startup space, they both came together to promote 3D printing technology in India. The genesis of Think3D started when Prudhvi shared an YouTube video on 3D printing that he came across with Raja Sekhar Upputuri. Both got so enamored by the video and technology that both decided to come together and start one company in 3D the space. Founders strongly believe that 3D printing technology will disrupt the entire manufacturing industry.

HWB Prints was founded by Robert Kempf in 2022. A bookkeeper by training, Robert has always dived headfirst into a variety of hobbies and interests. He accidentally came across 3D printing when he realized he could print custom parts for Quadcopter drones — another of his hobbies — and started learning about the field from there. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, and soon he began creating 3D printed items for himself, friends, and family. He custom-builds his printers and is regularly adding to his collection.

PRINTbart is the brainchild of me, Helgi Guðbjartsson. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark and I’ve been associated with 3D printing for over 5 years. I started PRINTbart in 2020 with a mission to open peoples’ eyes about the possibilities of 3D printing and the degrees of freedom it gives to anyone who has a great idea which needs materializing. Together, we can create solutions for any challenges and 3D print our way towards success and harmony. Almost anything is printable. 3D printing is a good tool for prototyping, creating custom products and scaled down models of large objects.

The founders of Originate 3d have over 50 years of combined experience in engineering and product development. Nick obtained his engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1995 and has been developing a variety of associated skills since. With unrepentant curiosity, he built his first 3d printer in 2013 and has never looked back. Nick is highly skilled with 3d modeling tools and manages the day to day operations on the Originate 3d production floor. He is a member of IEEE and ASTM. Andrew was a PhD candidate at Florida State when he decided that he did not love chemistry quite as much as his fellow students. After a sojourn at Dell, Andrew landed in China and made a deep dive into the manufacturing sector there. Andrew has developed a worldwide network of experts ensuring that if Originate 3d does not have the skill a client needs we know where to find it. David was a sophomore at Georgia Tech when Nick rolled in as a freshman. After obtaining a degree in physics, he spent twenty years in the telecom industry installing and managing cellular infrastructure. His love of tinkering and practical nature has led to a steady stream of useful inventions. He is a constant source of ideas for refining existing items.
