Vekta Group was founded in 2017, initially to provide grid and electrical knowledge and support to developers in the renewables industry. In early 2020 we expanded our offering to include more project management, engineering and financial modelling services and embarked on the development of in-house digital solutions to solve known industry problems. Iona has over 5 years of experience in procurement and contracts management in the renewables sector, at least 2 years of which were spent working in offshore wind farm project development. Mark is a highly experienced Chartered Engineer with demonstrated knowledge in power systems engineering, renewable project management, technical due diligence and the management of large engineering teams. Mark brings over 30 years of experience to our company.

Vespera Energy is a renewable energy company with a primary focus in photovoltaic developments in Italy and Greece but operates across Europe. Vespera was founded in 2021 by Conor McGuigan former director for LightsourceBP Europe and Australia and Aldo Giretti, previously development manager for LightsourceBP Italy. Vespera Energy’s mission is to accelerate the energy transition to a green future with an emissions-free energy generation mix as well as challenge existing processes and way of thinking within the industry. Alongside these targets we want to put focus on innovative solutions such as agricultural photovoltaic developments, green hydrogen and Battery Energy Storage System technologies. Our partner, Pelion Green Future, based in Munich, is a sustainability focused investment fund. Pelion invests in companies like Vespera and entrepreneurs with a focus on renewable energy, clean technology and climate related solutions.
