About Vulcan Electric | Porter, Maine | Heaters & Sensors
Most of our products are custom-designed for a specific product or process application. We are proud to be the chosen temperature specialist by many leading manufacturers and the go-to-source whenever there is a need to solve a problem, get the job done right, and deliver on time. Vulcan Electric designs and manufactures metal-sheathed heating elements, heater assemblies, temperature sensors, and cartridge-style thermostats. Our manufacturing is organized and geared to process one to several hundred units per production run. We started manufacturing heaters a long time ago, back in 1927. Although we have moved a few times since then, we still engineer and manufacture all our products in the U.S.A. We continue to expand on our core product platforms and seek new technologies to enhance our capabilities and offerings to support a broad range of industries and applications. Our engineering expertise and wide range of manufacturing capabilities allow us to deliver cost-effective, customized solutions.
