Unser ursprünglicher Tätigkeitsbereich war auf Produkte für die Ophthalmologie (Augenheilkunde) begründet und hat sich über die Jahre auf zusätzliche Indikationen ausgeweitet. Optima Spanntechnik GmbH has around 40 years of experience in clamping technology: Founded in 1961 as “Mechanische Werkstätte Reifenrath“ in 1984 the company was renamed “Optima Spanntechnik GmbH“. This group was formed to constantly improve the services and product range, for you and with you – our customers. Today Optima develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of clamping systems for presses of all sizes and for special machinery in the metal cutting and metal forming industries.

Estabilshed in 1977, Amotek is an Italian manufacturer of packaging machines located in Zola Predosa near Bologna (Italy), the heart of the Italian Packaging Valley. Since 1999, Amotek is part of the worldwide operating German company OPTIMA packaging group GmbH.Amotek designs and manufactures horizontal automatic bagging machines and complete packaging lines for different products as, for instance, toilet and kitchen rolls, sanitary napkins, baby and adult diapers, garbage bags etc. Amotek's extremely versatile and easy to operate machines, are able to pack single and multiple products into bags from tubular, flat, center-folded film or pre-made bags. The new Amotek building was officially dedicated in October 2015. Amotek scores especially in its flexibility which enables it to respond quickly to customer wishes both in sales and in service. Amotek closely cooperates with Optima’s German headquarters with regard to product development and knowledge transfer. Fully automated Amotek machines are characterized by state-of-the-art technology with a great value for money.
