Description

Our platform is a highly stable scanning micro-cavity system that can be operated in a closed-cycle cryostat to strongly couple solid state quantum systems to light. The highly stable but flexible open-cavity scanning approach makes it possible to quickly sample thousands of quantum systems with ease. This enables fast and efficient research and development of novel quantum technologies and quantum systems.

Indistinguishable single photons

In this publication Lukas Husel and Julian Trapp from LMU Munich demonstrate how cavity coupling enhances the indistinguishability of single photon emitters at room temperature while simultaneously boosting the emission efficiency by up to two orders of magnitude compared to conventional approaches. These results highlight a new and promising way of generating indistinguishable single photons by using our Qlibri Quantum cavity platform.
