Accumulative roll bonding (ARB) is a process that involves joining two thin layers of material together to form a single composite material. The process uses heat and pressure to deform the layers, causing them to bond together. During the process, an accumulative roll is used to press the two layers together, creating a strong bond. As the process is repeated, the bond between the layers becomes stronger and more durable. ARB is commonly used for joining sheets of metal, but can also be used for joining other materials such as plastics, composites and ceramics.
