Autoregressive models are a type of statistical model in which the output value is dependent on previous values in the time series. These models are used to predict future values based on past data. Autoregressive models use linear combinations of past values to generate a forecast. They are commonly used in forecasting problems, such as predicting stock prices, sales figures and other types of time-series data.
