Deep generative models are a class of artificial intelligence algorithms that aim to simulate data in a probabilistic manner. They are trained to learn the underlying distributions of the data, and then generate new data that conforms to the same underlying distributions. Generative models are capable of capturing complex data structures, and can be used to generate realistic images, text, audio, or other data. Examples of deep generative models include Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and variational autoencoders (VAEs).
