A drilling jumbo is a large, self-propelled machine used in underground mining operations to bore or cut through rock. It consists of an articulating boom, which is mounted on a large frame that is driven by four or more electric motors. The boom can rotate 360 degrees, allowing it to cut through rock in any direction. It is usually operated by a single operator who sits inside the cab and can control the machine from there.
