Dem Fraunhofer IOSB-AST ist eine Teleoperation des autonomen mobilen Gabelstaplers »MATS« mit spezieller Automatisierungstechnologie ausgestattet über ein lokales 5G-Netz geglückt. Das Fraunhofer IOSB-INA hat gemeinsam mit Partnern im nun abgeschlossenen Projekt AutoS² über 36 Monate die Automatisierung von Gefährdungs- und Risikobewertungen erforscht. Die Fraunhofer-Institute für System- und Innovationsforschung ISI sowie für Optronik, Systemtechnik und Bildauswertung IOSB, derzeit an unterschiedlichen Standorten in Karlsruhe angesiedelt, rücken enger zusammen. Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen des Einsatzes neuer Technologien in der Gewährleistung der Sicherheit von Maschinen wurden ausgelotet und eine Implementierung zur Bewertung von Safety & Security entwickelt. Über das von unserem Institutsteil IOSB-INA mitgetragene Projekt »KI und Digital Offensive HANDwerk.NRW«, bei dem es um KI-Lösungen für das Handwerk geht, berichten das Handwerksblatt und das Westfalen-Blatt.
