A plasma cleaner is a device that uses a stream of ionized gas, or plasma, to remove contaminants and impurities from surfaces. It works by ionizing a gas, such as argon, and then directing the ionized gas in a directed stream at the surface to be cleaned. As the plasma stream contacts the surface, the energy in the plasma stream causes contaminants to be dislodged from the surface, removing them. Plasma cleaning is an advanced cleaning technique used in a variety of industries, from semiconductor production to medical device manufacturing.
