Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic that is highly resistant to chemical and thermal degradation. It has excellent electrical and mechanical properties, low flammability, and is able to withstand high temperatures. PPS is often used in automotive and aerospace components, electrical insulation, and chemical-resistant containers, as well as in medical and industrial applications.
