Use Case
Surface heating and cooling system
Commercial & Residential Buildings
In today's world, the energy efficiency of heating and cooling systems is the focus of various sustainability efforts. Surface heating and cooling systems are superior to conventional heating solutions in many ways. Overall, they offer a promising alternative to traditional heating and cooling solutions, especially in terms of sustainability, energy efficiency and improved living comfort.
Use Case
Ice storage
Construction Industry, Real Estate Industry, Energy Utilities, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology
At first glance, the combination of ice storage and a heat pump may seem contradictory. However, this synergy offers a highly efficient, economical, and sustainable solution for the heating of buildings, as well as for air conditioning and cooling – which is becoming increasingly important due to more frequent extreme weather and hotter summers. aquatherm provides the corrosion-free aquatherm blue plastic pipe system for connecting ice storage tanks to heat pumps and for piping the hydraulic modules. The highly efficient aquatherm black is used for surface heating and cooling. Additionally, the insulated aquatherm energy pipe system is available for longer distances from the ice storage tank to the heat pump.
Use Case
Data Centre Cooling
Data Centre, Industrial Cooling
In a sense, data centres are the brain and backbone of our modern technology infrastructure - and just like the human brain, data centres consume significant amounts of energy. Data centres enable companies and organisations to store, process and distribute immense amounts of data - and they also must be fail-safe. This goes hand in hand with high energy consumption, resulting often to a correspondingly large carbon footprint. However, aquatherm's solutions can help reduce the environmental impact of data centres. Undoubtedly, one of the key advantages of using polypropylene piping materials is their sustainability: the thermoplastic, durable and recyclable material has a smaller carbon footprint than steel piping - without sacrificing quality, reliability or durability. What's more, the corrosion-free material significantly reduces the risk of leaks and associated damage or data loss.
aquatherm GmbH offers a wide range of products and services.
