NXP Introduces High-Power Wireless Charging Solution for Laptops and 2-In-1 Tablets

Description

NXP Semiconductors announced the first high-power wireless charging solution for notebooks and 2-in-1 tablets, providing up to 100W of power and covering the full power range requirements of the sector. The solution is less than 2mm thick and has a low component count, enabling it to meet the most demanding industrial design requirements. At the same time, it provides up to 94% power transfer efficiency, eliminating heat and cooling concerns and costs. The extended z-axis charging distance allows the charging transmitter to be mounted under a table or other surface, and the large spatial freedom in the x-y plane provides a seamless user experience.
