We offer start-ups, designers and developers, and academic researchers access to a supporting infrastructure of services across the entire silicon photonics development cycle: design, simulation, fabrication, packaging, validation, and a path to volume manufacturing. Our unique collaborations with software vendors and design companies address the challenges and fundamental changes needed for integrated photonics chip design. AIM Photonics has a proven, reliable, dedicated photonics process flow that can accept custom designs, and our business model of multi-project wafers lowers the prototyping cost for a single buyer. Offerings are available for photonic and electronic packaging that take advantage of our state-of-the-art tool set where researchers can work to design and build unique packaged prototypes. We are focused on the unique and specialized needs of the emerging integrated photonics ecosystem and have designed our program to bridge the gap between photonics content commonly available at U.S. universities and content required to specifically support the design, manufacture, testing, and packaging of foundry-based integrated photonics.
