aponix / urban plant cultivation components

So aponix took the opportunity to define another new innovative shape to set up grow spaces in 3D using lego-pieces to set up modular vertical cylinders (barrels) that are flexible and scalable. Aponix.eu started as a project of Manticore IT GmbH in 2015. Aponix stepped away from looking for ‘distributors’ or ‘resellers’ to sell the aponix pieces and started to work out more sophisticated solutions with ‘product partners’ from 2020. The idea is, that aponix pieces represent just infrastructure pieces that need to be engineered into a larger tailored context for certain target groups (the actual users). Aponix provides components to set up urban farming grow spaces in a modular and versatile way, enabling more hyperlocal plant production in 3D. The aponix vertical barrel incorporates a bunch of valuable key features that allow for a very versatile setup of a new type of urban farms with much smaller 2D footprint than their traditional commercial counterparts urban locations, for outdoor and indoor farming. The aponix barrel is designed to allow you to quickly grow a hydroponic garden. The aponix components and solutions are suitable to grow all sorts of edibles like herbs, lettuces and with our new reusable trellis plug pot also fruiting or even vining crops in vertical gardening/farming situations.
