Belton Industries

Polypropylene and Polyethylene Yarns and Woven Fabrics

Who is Belton Industries?

We are able to ensure and certify our products meet performance and design criteria through our in-house laboratory testing facility which is A2LA and GAI-LAP accredited. We provide flexible custom solutions for both small and large applications. By 1927, the partnership evolved into a business manufacturing cotton packaging materials, was incorporated, and continued in the fiber packaging business until that division was sold to a Fortune 500 company in 1997. In the 1980’s, a decision was made to shift our production and marketing focus to growth markets for specialty and niche products. We employ state-of-the-art equipment to extrude polypropylene and polyethylene resins into yarns of various colors and performance attributes. We operate a 200,000 square foot facility near Belton, SC and operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. We also collaborate with customers to co-develop products for proprietary applications. We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate special needs not typically offered by made-to-stock, commodity fabric suppliers.
