BIPVCo

BIPVco was established in 2015 following five years of collaborative research between Tata Steel LCRI (Low Carbon Research Institute) and Swansea University with support from the Welsh Government. BIPVco is now an independent company with global investors and strong alliances with multinational OEM manufacturers across the supply chain. BIPVco is ISO 9001:2015 accredited for designing, developing, and manufacturing thin film building integrated photovoltaic systems and has completed the MCS (Micro Generation Certification Scheme) accreditation audit for BIPVco’s factory. BIPVco modules are extremely lightweight and flexible, making them ideal for integrating onto metal and membrane roofing systems. BIPVco solar modules contain a self cleaning top sheet to deter mildew, dirt or other obstacles. Manufactured in the UK, our products are suitable for all environments and can be found on developments in varying climates worldwide, including Nigeria, Canada, UAE and the Europe.
