BIRAD’s vision is to manage Bar-Ilan University’s intellectual property assets for the public good. BIRAD aims to achieve strong patent protection for Bar-Ilan inventions and to maximize their commercial potential, thus generating an additional revenue stream for Bar-Ilan investors whilst supporting technological innovation. BIRAD offers researchers and industrial partners support in four areas:. BIRAD facilitates the establishment of scientific service contracts, in which members of the industrial community can take advantage of the University's outstanding knowledge base and technical infrastructure. BIRAD Angels Network is a business angels network for investors and private companies interested in investing in spin-out companies from the Bar-Ilan University. Technology Innovation is the basis of competitive advantage, and Bar-Ilan University is a natural breeding ground for innovation. We believe that innovation has the potential to transform industries, maximize the impact of new knowledge resulting from University research and discovery and to create tremendous economic and social value. The Israel Tech Transfer Organization (ITTN) serves as the umbrella organization for Israel’s technology transfer companies.
