We develop low-cost small Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) satellite payloads for weather, climate, defense, commercial remote sensing and scientific applications. Our payloads leverage advanced technologies in multi/hyperspectral imaging to provide Earth Intelligence across the spectrum from UV to the VIS and Far Infrared. Simultaneously, there is a greater need for Space Domain Awareness to allow safe operations in orbit and improved Geo-Intelligence for national security. Hyperspectral Imaging is a class of instruments which measures the wavelength spectrum of reflective or emitted light over a large spatial area, such as a coastline or forest. Commercial applications focus on measuring ecological features such as vegetation stress, constituents of mineral outcrops, or amounts of chlorophyll. As an optical solutions provider, Brandywine Photonics has built Offner and Dyson Spectrometer diffraction grating hyperspectral imagers as well as subsystems for Spatial Heterodyne, Linear Variable Filter, and Scanning Michaelson.
