Quantum Dot Research Reagents | Core Quantum Technologies

Who is Core Quantum Technologies?

Our products are brighter than traditional organic dyes and retain fluorescence in aqueous solutions post conjugation unlike traditional quantum dots. The bright fluorescence of quantum dots combined with the stability provided by our polymer protection makes our MagDots and MultiDots able to be used across platforms such as bioimaging and flow cytometry. If your research relies on flow cytometry and magnetic separation, our dual-use reagents offer you faster, and more accurate results. The MultiDot thus has increased sensitivity, a tighter emission spectrum than current fluorescent reagents, reducing spectral overlap and eliminating complex spectral compensation. We have products already conjugated to antibodies and do it yourself conjugation kits with all the necessary reagents and protocols to conjugate your own antibodies. Our research use only products are designed for inquiring minds. Use of one laser to excite all colors and tighter emission spectra reduce the need for complex spectral compensation.

MagDot 575 nm PEG Coated - Core Quantum Technologies

The MagDot is a dual-purpose reagent, it combines quantum dots and superparamagnetic iron oxide particles within the same nanoparticle. Cells labeled with MagDots targeting specific antigens will be both fluorescent and magnetic. Therefore, after labeling cells of interest, one can look at the feed to determine the percent positive fluorescently via flow cytometry, and then place the labeled cells in a magnetic separator and analyze both the magnetic (for the enrichment) and the nonmagnetic (for the depletion) of targeted cells without the need for further fluorescent labeling.
